Decode Tools is a participant in affiliate marketing programmes. This page explains what that means and how it affects the content you read on this site.

What is an affiliate link?

Some links on Decode Tools are affiliate links. This means that if you click a link and go on to purchase a product or subscribe to a service, Decode Tools may earn a commission from the company at no extra cost to you. You pay exactly the same price whether you use an affiliate link or go directly to the company’s website.

Which programmes do we participate in?

Decode Tools participates in affiliate programmes run by a number of software and SaaS companies, including but not limited to Jasper AI, Copy.ai, Writesonic, Surfer SEO, Semrush, HubSpot, Canva, Grammarly, and Notion. This list changes as new tools are reviewed and new programmes are joined.

How does this affect our reviews?

It doesn’t — and that is a deliberate policy.

Every tool reviewed on Decode Tools is assessed on its actual merits. We include honest assessments of weaknesses alongside strengths. We tell you clearly who a tool is not suitable for. We do not rank tools higher because they pay higher commissions. Tools we do not have affiliate relationships with are reviewed with the same standards as tools we do.

Our reputation for honest, independent reviews is more valuable to us than any individual commission. If you ever feel a review is inaccurate or biased, use the contact page to tell us.

Where are affiliate links disclosed?

Every article on Decode Tools that contains affiliate links carries this disclosure at the top:

“This article contains affiliate links. If you purchase through these links, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. I only recommend tools I have genuinely reviewed.”

Compliance

This disclosure is made in accordance with the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) guidelines, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) guidance on affiliate marketing, and the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines on endorsements and testimonials.
